As the professional theatre of the University of Chicago, we are proud to create opportunities for our campus community to engage with theatre. This includes offering discounts and special events for UChicago students, something we are thrilled to do during the run of our site-specific production of An Iliad at the Oriental Institute.
UChicago students have several opportunities to see An Iliad at a deeply discounted ticket price:
★Attend the production in-person on Tuesday, March 3, 2020 SOLD-OUT
Tickets $25 with UChicago student ID; 1 ticket per ID
Reserved exclusively for UChicago students. Combining promenade-style elements through the Oriental Institute galleries, as well as a seated portion performed in the Persian Gallery, this combination of theatre and history brings the epic poem to life in a new way. Please note: The beginning of the performance will require audience members to walk through the museum before being seated.
★Attend a simulcast of the production at Breasted Hall on March 14 or 15, 2020
Tickets $10 with UChicago student ID; 1 ticket per ID
The live performance in the OI galleries will be simulcast to Breasted Hall at the OI. Seats are reserved exclusively for UChicago students.
