The Sun-Times called Court’s production of Five Guys Named Moe “pure, unadulterated theatrical fun!” A tribute to the hit songs of songwriter Louis Jordan, this exuberant musical features hits like “Is You Is, or Is You Ain’t My Baby” and “Let the Good Times Roll,” showing how Jordan’s jazz and R&B music paved the way for rock and roll in the 1950s. Featuring an all-star cast and lively orchestrations, Five Guys is a testament to music’s power to lift spirits.
“A BLAST … All of the guys in the show are terrific … the material is respected, the audience is nurtured, warmth comes in great waves”
