SEEMA SUEKO serves as Deputy Artistic Director at Arena Stage. Prior, she was Associate Artistic Director at Pasadena Playhouse and Executive Artistic Director of Mo`olelo Performing Arts Company. An alumna of University of Chicago, Seema is a three-time Jeff Citation recipient. Her directing and acting credits include Arena Stage, Pasadena Playhouse, People’s Light, The Old Globe, Yale Rep, 5th Avenue Theatre, among others. R&D work includes Consensus Organizing for Theater, the Green Theater Choices Toolkit, and neuroscience of theater. Next, she will direct Vietgone at Denver Center followed by The Heiress at Arena Stage.
