Exciting Improvements to the Abelson Auditorium

We’ve been hard at work this summer! When you join us for Big White Fog (or any production in the 2025/26 season), you might notice that our house looks a little different: we have refreshed our carpet, painted the floors, and installed better railings!

There is still so much that we want to do to make your theatre-going experience as comfortable as possible, and we’re excited to take these first steps in making every visit to Court Theatre a little better. We hope you enjoy these improvements and we can’t wait for more to come.

Check out these photos from the renovation process, and join us for a production to experience these upgrades in person!

Good to hear, especially the railing improvements, we sometimes struggle to reach our seats, need solid railings not just prettier ones!! Older people like us , longtime subscribers, need to safely get to our seats.!

Spot on! It looks like there are gates to provide entry into the rows. Thank you. We are also very very long term subscribers, going back to the days when the Court Theatre performed in the Quadrangle Courtyard between Mandel Hall and the “C” shop, during the late spring and summer! and I believe later in Mandel Hall during the cold fall, winter and early spring season. It will actually be safe for us to sit close to our traditional front row seats this season.
