Season of Concern Chicago Provides Assistance for Artists Affected by COVID-19
Recently, Season of Concern Chicago wrote to Court Theatre asking us to remind Chicagoland artists that its emergency medical assistance applies to all “serious medical issues, including those that may result from COVID-19 infection.” The Biscotto-Miller Fund provides direct, short-term emergency financial assistance to Chicago-area actors, directors, designers, technicians and playwrights, regardless of whether or not they’re a member of Actor’s Equity Association or are Non-Equity.
The board and staff of Season of Concern Chicago also recommended artists follow the CDC’s accepted guidelines concerning how best to avoid transmitting the virus, and familiarizing yourself with the symptoms and treatment options.
