TANYA PALMER is the Assistant Dean and Executive Artistic Director in the School of Communication at Northwestern University. Prior to joining Northwestern, she was an Associate Professor of Dramaturgy at Indiana University Bloomington and head of the M.F.A. program in Dramaturgy. Previously, she served as the Producer and Director of New Play Development at Goodman Theatre and led the theatre’s new play programs for fourteen seasons. She curated and produced New Stages, the theatre’s annual new play festival, and served as the production dramaturg on a number of world premieres, including Dana H., 2666, Smokefall, The Happiest Song Plays, The Long Red Road, and Ruined.
