Joseph Primes is a native of Cleveland, Ohio, and now resides in Chicago. Credits include Sweat and Gem of the Ocean (u/s, Goodman); EthiopianAmerica (Definition Theatre); and Familiar and Lindiwe (u/s, Steppenwolf); King Hedley II U/S (u/s, Court Theatre). Regional theatre: Morning After Grace (Indiana Rep). Television/Film: Chicago P.D. (NBC) and Underdogs (Netflix). Joseph was nominated for a Jeff Award as a member of the ensemble of Familiar. Joseph is the recipient of the Black Theater Alliance’s Ossie Davis Award. He is a member of SAG-AFTRA and AEA.
