This glossary includes helpful vocabulary and allusions that will deepen your understanding of Radio Golf.

WORD/PHRASEDEFINITION
Blighted (adj) A designation for a property, usually vacant, that indicates that it is extremely deteriorated, dilapidated, or hazardous to health
Cochise (n) A 19th century Chiricahua Apache warrior who fought fiercely against the American government and white settlers to protect his people’s land
Cohibas(n) A variety of Cuban cigars
Summons(n) A form issued by the court notifying the recipient that they are required to appear before a judge or that they are being sued
Tiger Woods(n) A multi-racial professional golfer, widely considered to be one of the best golfers ever. He went professional in 1996 at the age of 20
Vietnam(n) Refers to the Vietnam War, 1955-1975
Wooden Nickels(n) The phrase “don’t take any wooden nickels” is a warning to be cautious in business dealings.
