Shana Cooper is an assistant professor at Northwestern University (Directing M.F.A. Program) and a Woolly Mammoth company member (Washington D.C.). Recent directing credits include Julius Caesar at Theatre For A New Audience, the world premiere of Barbara Hammond’s Terra Firma Off-Broadway with The Coop, and Paula Vogel’s Indecent at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Other directing credits include A.C.T., Yale Rep, Studio Theater, Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Seattle Rep, Cal Shakes, and Playmakers Rep. Artistic Leadership: Associate Artistic Director of Cal Shakes (2000-2004), Cofounder of New Theater House (2008-present).
