Erin Kilmurray (Movement Designer) is a dance artist working within contemporary dance, theater, screen, and nightlife. Theater credits include Milwaukee Rep (Hedwig and the Angry Inch), Court Theatre (Oedipus Rex; Augie March), Chicago Shakespeare, About Face Theater, The Inconvenience, among others. She is recognized as one of 50 Leaders who Perform for Chicago (Newcity), recently awarded a Links Hall Fellowship (2022), Chicago Dancemakers Forum Lab Artist (2020), and is the director of The Fly Honey Show—a performance project elevating women + queer experiences, named “a Chicago institution” (Chicago Reader). Erin’s independent practice has been supported by the Dance Center of Columbia College, Thalia Hall, 3Arts, High Concept Labs, University of Chicago Performance Lab, Lucky Plush Productions, Pivot Arts, The Cambrian’s, ArtTheater dB Kobe (Japan), Global Women’s Performing Festival (S. Korea), Contemporary Arts Center New Orleans, Beloit College, Loyola University.
