ROBERT SHAPIRO, a partner in the law firm of Barack Ferrazzano in Chicago, has been a commercial trial lawyer and litigator for 40 years. He is also an adjunct professor of philosophy at St. Xavier University and has taught courses on philosophy and law in numerous countries around the world. A journalist too, Rob publishes a quarterly column on the law in an ABA journal and has appeared as a commentator on politics and law on local television. Rob has a weekly show on classical music on SXU student radio, and serves on the board of Chicago Opera Theater. Rob and his wife, Susan, a high school teacher at the Laboratory Schools, are long-time Hyde Parkers and Court enthusiasts.
