CHRIS VASSIL is a Chicago-based executive leader with more than 20 years of experience in strategic planning, operations, marketing, and corporate communications. He currently serves as Director, Office of the Global CEO at Travelzoo, where he oversees global strategic initiatives.
Before Travelzoo, Chris served as Director of Communications at Susan Davis International, leading high-profile public relations campaigns and event logistics for clients including the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial, the National Museum of the Marine Corps, and Discover Northern Ireland. He began his career in cable news, coordinating special event coverage for major networks during events such as a presidential inauguration and State of the Union addresses.
Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Boston University, with minors in Political Science and Photojournalism, and is a graduate of the Prime Chief of Staff Executive Development Program. He grew up with a passion for theatre, performing throughout high school and college.
