Korina Hernandez is a Chicago-based curator, researcher, and artist focused on new media art, archives, and Latin and queer communities. Hernandez is currently curatorial assistant at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago, where she has supported exhibitions including City in a Garden: Queer Art and Activism in Chicago and Yoko Ono: Music of the Mind. Recent independent projects include ReThinking the Archive (2020-ongoing) and the curation of niño del lugar (2026, Mexico City). Hernandez received their BA from Wellesley College and MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where they received the New Artist Merit Society Scholarship.
