J. NICOLE BROOKS is a multidisciplinary artist, athlete, and fashion stylist. Art practice includes playwriting, acting, directing, choreography, and education. Brooks is an ensemble member and Mellon Foundation Playwright in Residence at the Tony Award-winning Lookingglass Theatre. Chicago theatre credits include Lottery Day (Goodman Theatre), Beyond Caring (Lookingglass Theatre Company), and most recently A Raisin in the Sun (Court Theatre) as Mrs. Johnson. @doctaslick.
