NIKI DREISTADT (she/hers) is a Chicago-based stage manager using technical theatre and librarianship to bring stories, new work, and local history to life. She is currently a youth services librarian at Chicago Public Library. This is her third year with the Spotlight Reading Series. Selected production crew credits include Arsenic and Old Lace (2022) at Court Theatre, crew cover work for Choir Boy (2022), Seagull (2022), and Dance Nation (2020) at Steppenwolf Theatre Company, and crew for Her Honor Jane Byrne (2020), The Steadfast Tin Soldier (2018, 2019), Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein (2019), Acts of God (2019), and 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea (2018) at Lookingglass Theatre. You can find her written work in Thumbnail Magazine, Kindergarten Press, and A Thousand Flowers Publishing.
