SYMPOSIUM
Saturday, February 26th
The Department of Germanic Studies at the University of Chicago, with generous support from the Center for the Interdisciplinary Study of German Literature and Culture, and in cooperation with Court Theatre and the Committee on Theater & Performance Studies is pleased to present a symposium on Court Theatre's production of Heiner Müller's Quartet, directed by JoAnne Akalaitis and presented at the Museum of Contemporary Art. The symposium will feature renowned Müller experts David Bathrick (Cornell University) and Elin Diamond (Rutgers University) as well as Court Theatre's Artistic Director Charlie Newell; David Levin will moderate. The symposium will take place in the MCA Auditorium at 5pm on February 26th, between the matinee and evening performances of Quartet, Tickets to the symposium are free, but must be reserved.
