KAREN KANDEL (Merteuil) has had the good fortune to consistently work with directors like Jo Anne Akalaitis who continue to challenge her. She is the recipient of three Obie Awards, a Drama League, Dramalogue, Connecticut Critics Circle and San Diego's Craig Noel Award for performance. She is currently developing Portraits, an original work with text, music and installation art. Karen is an Artistic Associate with Mabou Mines.

STEVEN RISHARD (Valmont) most recently played Dan in the New York premier of the newest Glynn O’Malley play A Heartbeat to Baghdad at the Flea Theater, directed by Jim Simpson. Other NY credits include work with director Chen Shi-Zheng on his next creation for Lincoln Center, the title role in a workshop of Coriolanus for the Public Theater with director Joanna Settle, the role of Michael in The Pagans at Abingdon Theater, Man in Act Without Words 1 for Becket Shorts 4, Father in Journeys Among the Dead at HERE, Condemned man in Philip Glass’s opera In the Penal Colony at CSC. Steven has preformed at Court Theater before in Life’s a Dream, The Real Thing, La Bette, Learned Ladies, Fair Ladies at a Game of Poem Cards, Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Gross Indecency: The Three Trials of Oscar Wilde. Regional credits include: The Rainmaker at Triad Stage, Big Love at the Wilma Theater, The Gamester at Northlight Theater. Television Credits: Law and Order and ED. Steven has performed at The Whitney Museum in Oyinbo, choreographed by David Nuemann and at P.S.122 in Best Western, choreographed by Stacy Dawson. He is an Artistic Associate of Division 13 Productions. |
