MICHAEL SOMMERS (Scenic and Costume Designer) is a theatre artist based in Minneapolis. He is the artistic director of Open Eye Figure Theatre which he founded with Suasan Haas in 2000. At Court, he designed Scapin for Mr. Bayes. He is the recipient of numerous grants and awards and he teaches the puppetry arts at the University of Minnesota.

DIANE D. FAIRCHILD (Lighting Designer)Designer) is thrilled to again be working with Mr. Bayes. Design credits: Chicago: Court Theater, Redmoon, Noble Fool; NYC: The Juilliard School, Dixon Place, The Kitchen, Joyce Soho, HERE, New Georges; Regional: Intiman Theatre, Trinity Repertory, Syracuse Stage. Favorite Christopher Bayes productions include: The Love of Three Oranges (Juilliard), The Raven (NYU), The Moliere Impromtu (Trinity Repertory) and Scapin (Court). Ms. Fairchild holds an M.F.A. in theater design from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, and she earned her B.F.A. in design and technology for the theater from Wright State University in her native, Dayton, Ohio. JOSH HORVATH (Composer/ Sound Designer/ Video Designer)is a Chicago-based sound designer and composer. His designs have been heard locally at the Goodman, Steppenwolf, Lookingglass, Court, Northlight, Apple Tree, TimeLine, Chicago Shakespeare, Naked Eye, and Next. His designs have been heard regionally at Milwaukee Shakespeare, Milwaukee Rep, Madison Rep, University of Wisconsin-Madison, Wright Sate University, and the Robey Theatre Company in L.A. Josh was a Joseph Jefferson nominee (Fräulien Else, Court Theatre) and Joseph Jefferson award winner (Electricidad at the Goodman). Recent and upcoming designs include: Topdog/Underdog at Madison Rep, The Full Monty at Drury Lane Water Tower, and The Jammer at Bailystock and Bloom in Milwaukee. Mr. Horvath composed the music for the films PrettyLadies: the Super8explosion and Stray Dogs. Josh teaches at DePaul University, and is a production affiliate of Lookingglass, and is a co-owner of Aria Music Designs, LLC.

RAY NARDELLI (Composer/ Sound Designer/ Video Designer) co-designed and composed sound for Court Theatre’s Fräulien Else last season. He has composed music and designed sound at The Goodman Theatre, Steppenwolf Theatre Company, Chicago Shakespeare Theater, Northlight Theatre, Apple Tree Theatre, Lookingglass Theatre, Victory Gardens Theater, The Gift Theatre, Northwestern Theatre, DePaul Theatre, Notre Dame Summer Shakespeare, Meadow Brook Theatre, Oak Park Festival Theatre, Dolphinback Theatre, American Girl Theatre, Skylight Opera, and Wright State University Theatre. Assistant sound design credits at the Goodman, Steppenwolf Theatre, Manhattan Theatre Club and at the Next Theatre. Ray has recorded, mixed and produced CDs for the musicals The Sound Of One and La Luna Muda. Film credits include Stray Dogs, Pretty Ladies, and Crush. Ray teaches sound design at DePaul University and Northwestern University. Other work includes sound and music used on NPR, PBS, NBC's The Today Show and Jeff Gordon Racing, A CD-ROM game.
