GEOFFREY
CURLEY
(Scenic Designer) is thrilled to be back for his second
adventure at Court Theatre. His last design on the Court stage
was for The Chairs. In the Chicago area, Mr. Curley has
designed for numerous companies including The Goodman, Steppenwolf,
Chicago Shakespeare, Lookingglass, Writer’s Theatre, About Face
Theatre (Artistic Associate), Milwaukee Rep (Company Member),
and Roadworks Productions (Ensemble Member). His designs have
been seen throughout the United States, in Europe and in Asia.
Mr. Curley has received a Jeff Award, two After Dark Awards including
Outstanding Season, and he has been nominated for four Jeffs.
He has also taught at a number of colleges including DePaul University
and Grinnell College. Mr. Curley was the Artistic Director of
Roadworks Productions from 2001-2004.
JAQUELINE
FIRKINS
(Costume Designer) designed costumes for last season’s
Fräulein Else. Other design work includes sets and/or
costumes for Portland Stage Company, Shakespeare Festival of St.
Louis, Idaho Shakespeare Festival, Westport Playhouse, Shakespeare
and Company, Shakespeare Festival of Tulane, Ensemble Studio Theatre,
Yale Repertory Theatre, New Jersey Shakespeare Festival, Brave
New Repertory, AboutFace Theatre Company, and Yale School of Drama.
Independent film design includes Now and Again and Morning Comes.
Jacqueline is a Recipient of a 2001 Princess Grace Award and a
faculty member at Loyola University Chicago.
MARCUS
DOSHI
(Lighting Designer) has collaborated with many leading
American companies including The Yale Repertory Theatre, Chicago
Shakespeare, Milwaukee Shakespeare, California Shakespeare, Great
River Shakespeare, Geva, Indiana Repertory, Dallas Theatre Center,
Ford's Theatre, Wagon Wheel Theatre, Synapse Productions, The
Civilians, Soho Rep, and The Lincoln Center Festival among many
others. Mr. Doshi’s recent international work includes director
Peter Sellar’s production of The Children of Heracles
for the 2004 Wiener Festwochen & the Holland Festival 2004, the
recent India tour of Thresh Company’s dance Strings Unattached,
and the Royal University of Fine Arts' (Phnom Penh, Cambodia)
classical Khmer dance Samritechak for the 2003 Bienalle
di Venezia. In 2001 Mr. Doshi was honored with the USITT Barbizon
Award for Lighting Design. And, in 2003, he was chosen as a recipient
of the prestigious National Endowment for the Arts/Theatre Communications
Group Career Development Program. He holds degrees from Wabash
College and the Yale University School of Drama.
DOUG
PECK
(Music Director/ Piano) is delighted to return to Court
Theatre, where he music directed James Joyce’s “The Dead”
(2003) and Guys and Dolls (After Dark Award). Other credits
include Into the Woods (Peninsula Players), The Last
Five Years (Syndicate Productions), And The World Goes
‘Round (La Red Productions at Next Theatre), the 2003 Waa-Mu
Show: This Just In (Northwestern University), and French
dialect coaching for My Old Lady (Apple Tree). Peck has
also served as musical director at Wagon Wheel Theatre in Warsaw,
Indiana for three summers, where favorites include Titanic,
Yeston’s Phantom, Hello, Dolly!, Kiss Me, Kate, and Cats.
Peck is active as a voice teacher, vocal coach, and cabaret pianist.
Next up is Apple Tree’s production of Hello, Again, based
on Schnitzler’s play La Ronde.
