CRISTEN
PAIGE (Cecily
Cardew) returns to Court where she played Rita/Young Julia
in James Joyce’s “The Dead.” Most recently she played Little
Red in Into the Woods at Peninsula Players in Door County
Wisconsin, where she also performed in The Taffetas. Chicago
credits include The Visit (Goodman); Lucky Stiff and
Dames at Sea (Drury Lane Oakbrook); Peter Pan
and The Wizard of Oz (Chicago Shakespeare); Honk! and
Bye Bye Birdie (Marriott Theatre); and Gypsy (Theatre
at the Center). This spring Cristen will return to Court to play
Cecily in Travesties. |

HEIDI
KETTENRING(Gwendolen
Fairfax) was last seen at Court Theatre as Miss Adelaide in
Guys and Dolls (After Dark Award). She has appeared in
Chicagoland at Marriott Theatre in Lincolnshire (Jeff Nomination
for Fanny Brice in Funny Girl), Chicago Shakespeare Theatre,
Drury Lane Oakbrook Terrace, Theatre at the Center, Drury Lane Evergreen
Park, Northlight Theatre, The Ravinia Festival, and the Chicago
Humanities Festival. Regionally she has appeared at Peninsula Players
and Bar Harbor Theatre. Heidi spent one year on tour with Disney’s
Beauty and the Beast. She is a proud Northwestern graduate. |

BETH FISHER(Lady
Bracknell) most recently appeared in The Dresser at

PENNY
SLUSHER (Miss
Prism) appeared last winter at Court as Mrs. Malins in the
revival of James Joyce’s “The Dead.” Recently she played
Simona in The Outfit at Serendipity Theatre, Rosemary (Jeff
Citation nominee) in Griffin Theatre’s Picnic, and Mrs.
Grogan in Famous Door’s Jeff Award-winning production of The
Cider House Rules. She will be seen this spring at Writer’s
Theatre as Nettie in The Subject Was Roses. |

BILL
MCGOUGH (Rev.
Canon Chasuble) is making his Court Theatre debut. He was most
recently seen in the world premiere of A Dublin Bloom at
Irish Rep. He has performed at the Goodman (The Death of Bessie
Smith), Apple Tree (The Sign of the Four, Pygmalion),
Next Theatre (In the Blood), Steppenwolf (The Time
of Your Life, As I Lay Dying), CCPA (Miracle on 34th Street),
Northlight (The Gamester), Raven Theatre (too numerous
to mention), and with The Hypocrites (Henry 5, The Cherry Orchard,
Marat/Sade). |

MAURY
COOPER
(Lane/Merriman) was the recent recipient fo the 2003 Jeff
Award for Best Supporting Actor in Judgement at Nuremburg
with Shattered Globe Theatre. Nationwide credits include the Guthrie
Theater; Yale Repertory, Milwaukee, Berkley, Portland (Oregon),
Cleveland Playhouse, Denver, Indiana, ACT (Seattle), Alley Theatre
(Texas), Theatre Calgary, Manitoba, The Shaw Festival (Canada),
Broadway and Off-Broadway. His Chicago resume lists Court Theatre,
Steppenwolf, Next Theatre, Northlight, Remy Bumppo, and Goodman
Theatre. He is pleased to be returning to Court. |

STAGE
MANAGEMENT
LAXMI KUMARAN (Production Stage Manager) has worked as a stage manager in Chicago for the past eight years. A selection of shows she has stage managed at Court Theatre include James Joyce’s “The Dead,” The Romance Cycle, Cyrano, Phédre, The Learned Ladies, The Invention of Love, and Gross Indecency with such directors as Charles Newell, JoAnne Akalaitis and Gary Griffin. Other theatres include The Goodman, Lookingglass with 500 Clown, The Royal George, Apple Tree, First Folio Shakespeare Festival and Next Theatre. She has taught stage management classes at Northern Illinois and DePaul Universities.

MARY
KATE GAVIN (Assistant
Stage Manager) is pleased to return to Court Theatre for another
wonderful show. Prior credits include: Stage Manager for Broadway
Bound, Fools, Soufflé Surprise, Deathtrap, Caught in the Net, Proof
and Taffetas (Peninsula Players); PULP (About
Face Theatre); and The Joy of Going Somewhere Definite (Collaboraction).
She was the Assistant Stage Manager for James Joyce's “The Dead”
and The Romance Cycle (Court Theatre), Mom’s the
Word (The Royal George), and A Midsummer Night’s Dream
(Chicago Shakespeare Theater-Short Shakespeare). Mary Kate also
worked as the Floor Manager at The Goodman Theatre for two years
where she had the opportunity to work on shows like Boy Gets
Girl (American premiere), House and Garden (American
premiere), Wit and The Visit (world premiere).
She is a graduate of DePaul University’s Theatre School. |
