LANCE STUART BAKER is making his fifth appearance at Court, having appeared as Rosencrantz in Hamlet, Orsino in Twelfth Night, Petrin and Platonov in Piano, and Pater in The Invention of Love. Recent credits include No Place Like Home at Steppenwolf, Lobby Hero at Goodman, The Grey Zone at A Red Orchid, and Nocturne at Naked Eye. He also appeared in This Is Our Youth, Dealer's Choice, Betty's Summer Vacation, Santaland Diaries, and Ecstasy for Roadworks Productions, where he is an ensemble member.
KATI BRAZDA  is thrilled to make her Court debut. She was recently seen as Isobel in Remy Bumppo's The Secret Rapture. Other credits include: Top Girls (Remy Bumppo), The Life and Times of Tulsa Lovechild: A Road Trip (CollaborAction, Jeff Citation - Best Actress Leading Role, Ensemble), Hard Times (Lookingglass, understudy/performed) and Whitman (About Face). She has also performed with Victory Gardens, Steppenwolf, Famous Door, Seanachai, Nebraska Shakespeare Festival and Defiant Theatre, where she is a member. Thanks to AB and James.
McKINLEY CARTER is pleased to return to Court, having just appeared as Mary Jane Morkan in James Joyce’s The Dead. Chicago credits include The Visit at Goodman Theatre; Winesburg, Ohio at Steppenwolf; A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Tempest, Antony and Cleaopatra, and Henry IV, Parts One and Two at Chicago Shakespeare Theater; Assasins and Kiss of the Spider Woman at Apple Tree Theatre; Passion and Company at Pegasus Players; and The Waiting Room at Stage Left Theatre. Regional credits include Proof (Madision Repertory Theatre), A Christmas Carol (Guthrie Theatre), and A Christmas Cabaret (Syracuse Stage).
CHAON CROSS returns to Court after only a short absence. Chaon last appeared as Hyacinte in Court's production of Scapin and Aricia in Phèdre. Since in Chicago, Chaon has worked with First Folio Shakespeare Festival, Frump Tucker, Shattered Globe, Timeline Theatre Company, and Theatre Hikes. Before arriving in Chicago in 2001, Chaon toured the US and Canada for two years with Shenendoah Shakespeare. Her favorite roles on tour included Lady Macbeth, Jessica in The Merchant of Venice, Hero in Much Ado About Nothing, and Mephestophilis in Dr. Faustus. Chaon would to thank God for the stories to tell and the opportunity to tell them.
WILL DICKERSON is pleased to be making his first appearance with Court Theatre. He has appeared in over six productions at Chicago Shakespeare Theater, most recently in Julius Caesar and As You Like It. Other Shakespeare credits include Comedy of Errors with greasy joan & co. and two seasons with Montana Shakespeare in the Parks. Additional Chicago credits include Incident at Vichy and Loot at Writers' Theatre. Will holds a BFA from Boston University.

KATE FRY returns to Court, where she performed in productions of My Fair Lady, Twelfth Night, Piano, The Learned Ladies, Fair Ladies at a Game of Poem Cards, The Cherry Orchard, An Ideal Husband, Tartuffe, The Philadelphia Story, and The Barber of Seville. Most recently, she played the Governess in The Turn of the Screw with StreetSigns Productions in North Carolina. Other credits include work with Chicago Shakespeare, Apple Tree, Repertory Theatre of St. Louis, Lincoln Center Directors' Lab, Drama League of New York, Candlelight Playhouse, Roadworks, Marriott's Lincolnshire and Bailiwick Repertory.
WARREN JACKSON is ecstatic to be making his Court Theatre debut. He recently completed a solid run in Breadline Theatre Group's premiere This Side of Angels. Originally from Indianapolis having attended Ball State, Warren has worked with many talented artists at Lifeline Theatre, Chicago Shakespeare, MPAACT, greasy joan & Co., Congo Square, Shakespeare on the Green, among others. Regionally he appeared in the Arizona Theatre Company production of Bill Irwin's Scapin while earning his MFA in Acting from the University of Arizona.
TIMOTHY EDWARD KANE is pleased to be returning to Court, where he appeared as Laertes in Hamlet. Other Chicago credits include Loves' Labours' Lost, The Tempest, A Midsummer Night's Dream, King Lear, and All's Well That Ends Well (Chicago Shakespeare), Hushabye Mountain, Early and Often and Hellcab (Famous Door), Cyrano de Bergerac and The Clink (Rivendell Theatre Ensemble). Regional credits include two seasons with the Illinois Shakespeare Festival where he appeared in Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, Hamlet, All's Well That Ends Well, Measure for Measure, and Much Ado About Nothing.
KYMBERLY MELLEN is proud to be part of this stellar ensemble at Court Theatre again. Kymberly was most recently seen as Cleo Singer in Rocket to the Moon at Writers' Theatre and Frieda/Elaine in Sunday in the Park with George at Chicago Shakespeare Theater. Other Chicago credits include Helena in Short Shakespeare! A Midsummer Night's Dream, Romeo and Juliet, and Two Gentlemen of Verona at Chicago Shakespeare Theater, My Fair Lady with Court Theatre, Whale Music with Constellation Players, and multiple roles in The American Girl Revue. She holds degrees from The Theatre School at DePaul University and BYU.
BRADEN MORAN is honored to be working with such a wonderful company. After completing his first season at American Players Theatre, he is making his Chicago debut. Favorite past productions include All My Sons, Antony and Cleopatra, Twelfth Night, The Emigrants, True West, Polaroid Stories, Lost in a Mirror, and Taming of the Shrew. A proud graduate of Carnegie Mellon University, he thanks Mom and Christi...the strength, inspiration, and guides of this fantastic dream.
CHUCK STUBBINGS is very proud to be returning to Court Theatre and working on this exciting project. His most recent acting credits include Big Love at the Goodman Theater and Brooklyn Academy of Music; Romeo and Juliet at Chicago Shakespeare; and Betty's' Summer Vacation for Roadwork's. He has also appeared with Lookingglass Theatre, Steppenwolf Theatre, and The Lyric Opera (Juggling fire in i Pagliacci). Chuck is a trained circus acrobat and clown. He has toured with Ringling Brothers Circus, Midnight circus, and the Flying Griffin Circus. He is a resident clown doctor at Chicago Children's Hospital and LaRabida hospital for the Big Apple Circus. He is a cofounder of the comic acrobatic duo The Bumblinni Brothers, who can be seen performing all over the city. His television credits include appearances on The David Letterman Show, Good Morning America, and MTV's Road Rules. He has also been seen on Art Beat (as Dr. Doofus) and appeared in Early Edition. Chuck would like to thank Kelly and Samson.
JAY WHITTAKER last seen as Casca in Julius Caesar at Chicago Shakespeare Theater, where he has also appeared as Longaville and Berowne in Love's Labour's Lost and Ariel in The Tempest (After Dark Award). Other Chicago credits include Mother Courage and Her Children and David Copperfield (Steppenwolf Theatre Company), And Neither Have I Wings To Fly (Fox Theatricals) and Ghetto (Famous Door Theatre). Other credits include the title role in Richard III (Illinois Shakespeare Festival) and work with the Wisconsin Shakespeare Festival, Bathhouse Theatre (Seattle), and Seattle Fringe Festival. DEREK GASPAR (Understudy) is making his Court Theatre debut and is very excited to be understudying such a fine group of people. Originally from Boston, Derek graduated from the University of Massachusetts where he performed the title role in Macbeth & Einstein in Picasso at the Lapin Agile. Since moving to Chicago in June of 2001 Derek has worked in a variety of non-equity theatres including Trap Door Theatre's recent hit, Nana. He is also an artistic associate of Umalleniay Productions.
BROOKE HARDMAN (Understudy) Regional: The Last Hurrah, Mary Stuart (Huntington Theatre Co.), 'Tis Pity She's a Whore, Parker, The Winter's Tale, Street Scene (Williamstown Theatre Festival), Julius Caesar (Montana Shakespeare). Off-off Broadway: Moonchildren, Pains of Youth (Act2 Productions in assocation with Williamstown Theatre Festival). Brooke recently completed work on her first feature film, The Last Will and Testament of Marlboro Patch. Brooke holds a BFA in acting from Boston University's School for the Arts.

LAXMI KUMARAN (Production Stage Manager) has previously worked with Charles Newell on James Joyce's The Dead, Piano, The Little Foxes, The Learned Ladies, Fair Ladies at a Game of Poem Cards and The Invention of Love. A selection of other Court credits include Phèdre, Life's A Dream, Mary Stuart and Gross Indecency. She has also stage managed A Christmas Carol, Long Day's Journey into Night and Galileo Galilei at Goodman Theatre. In addition, Laxmi has staged managed productions at Royal George, Apple Tree, and Next Theatre. She teaches stage management at Northern Illinois University.

MARY KATE GAVIN (Assistant Stage Manager) is proud to be marking her second Court Theatre venture with The Romance Cycle after assistant stage managing James Joyce's The Dead. Previous credits include Stage Manager for The Joy of Going Somewhere Definite (Collaboraction), Assistant Stage Manager for Short Shakespeare! A Midsummer Night's Dream (Chicago Shakespeare), Assistant Stage Manager for Mom's the Word (Royal George), Stage Manager for Gaslight (TimeLine), and Stage Manager for Stupid Kids (Roadworks). Mary Kate has also worked as Floor Manager at Goodman for two years, where she has the opportunity to work on shows like Boy Gets Girl (American Premiere), A Raisin in the Sun, A Christmas Carol, House & Garden (American Premiere), Wit, and The Visit (World Premiere).
