JENNY BACON (Phèdre) played the title role in Court Theatre's MARY STUART last season. Off-Broadway credits include: More Stately Mansions, A Streetcar Named Desire, The Most Fabulous Story Ever Told (NYTW); Race (CSC); Carson McCullers (Playwrights); The Arabian Nights (MTC). Regionally, she has appeared in The Glass Menagerie and God of Vengeance (Williamstown), Hedda Gabler, (Long Wharf), Molly Sweeney (Steppenwolf), Three Sisters (Goodman), and A Doll's House (Seattle Rep). TV credits include: "Law and Order, " "SVU," "Criminal Intent,"and "Sling." |

DE ANNA N. J. BROOKS (Ismene) is excited to be a part of such an amazing cast and crew. She was last seen in Court's production of MARY STUART directed by JoAnne Akalaitis. Other credits include Summertime at Lookingglass, The Terrible Girls at About Face, Love Child at Live Bait, and Hedda Gabler at Circle Theatre. DeAnna stands tall on the shoulders of her ancestors and sends love to Mami, LA and Fred. |

CHAON CROSS (Aricia) hails from lovely Eureka Springs, nestled in the Ozark mountains of Arkansas. Before moving to Chicago she toured for two years with Shenandoah Shakespeare throughout the US and Canada. Favorite roles on tour were Lady Macbeth in Macbeth, Hero in Much Ado about Nothing, and Mephastophilis in Dr.Faustus. Since moving to the Windy City in 2001, she has had the pleasure of working with the following theatre companies: Theatre Hikes, Timeline, Shattered Globe, Frump Tucker, and First Folio Shakespeare Festival. Grateful and thrilled to be working with Court, she looks forward to this season's plays and the incredible stories that are to be told. |

JAMES ELLY (Hippolytus) is thrilled to be working with Court Theatre for the first time. New to the Chicago theatre scene, James graduated from Northwestern University, where he originated the title role in the world premiere of The Passion of Henry David Thoreau by Joyce Carol Oates. Chicago credits include Tinfish Theater and Writers' Theater of Chicago. He would like to thank all his family and friends who have supported him along the way.

JAMES KRAG (Theseus) was most recently seen as Michael, in the world premiere of Battle of the Bands at Victory Gardens Theatre. A native of Chicago, and a graduate of the Goodman School of Drama at DePaul University, Jim has appeared at Chicago Shakespeare, New American, Steppenwolf, Goodman, Oak Park Festival, and Organic Theatres, and Peninsula Players, in Door County, Wisconsin. He understudied the Broadway production of Burn This and appeared in the role of Larry. Film and TV roles include: While You Were Sleeping, Mercury Rising, Molly, Crossing the Bridge, "ER," "Early Edition," "Dharma and Greg,"and "Ellen,"and a recurring role on "Missing Persons." Jim is proud to be working at Court Theatre and would like to thank Ms. Akalaitis and Mr. Newell for this wonderful opportunity. |

ELIZABETH LAIDLAW (Enone) appeared previously in Court Theatre's LIFE'S A DREAM. Theatre credits include productions with Chicago Shakespeare Theatre (Rosalind, As You Like It), About Face Theatre, Steppenwolf, Lifeline, Next Theatre, Famous Door, Bailiwick Repertory, Pegasus Players, The Journeymen, Running With Scissors, Powertap, National Pastime, City Lit, and Strawdog Theatre. Film and TV includes "Three Days" and "Turks" (CBS). She received her BFA from Illinois Wesleyan University and holds a certificate in Shakespeare training from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. Offstage, she teaches theatre to some of the best young actors in town at Near North Montessori School. |

SCOTT PARKINSON (Theramenes) returns to Court Theatre, where he appeared in A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM. Chicago credits: fourteen productions with Chicago Shakespeare, including the title role in Richard II; Among the Thugs (Goodman Theatre); The Gamester (Northlight Theatre); Booth, Candida, and The Glass Menagerie (Writers' Theatre); Angels in America (The Journeymen); and title roles in Hamlet and Richard III, and Iago in Othello (Shakespeare on the Green). Regional credits include Daniel Sullivan's production of Romeo and Juliet and Jack O'Brien's production of The Seagull (Old Globe). |

NICOLE WIESNER (Panope) is honored to be making her first appearance at Court Theatre. She holds a BA in Acting from Columbia College, Chicago. She has been a company member of Trap Door Theatre for the past three years where she was recently seen as Madeleine in Quills and Dila in The Automobile Graveyard.
