Student Programs

Endowed with the unique spirit of inquiry characteristic of all of Court Theatre’s artistic endeavors, the Student Education Program exemplifies our commitment to curiosity and innovation. The Program not only builds community, both among our partner schools and between the Theatre and surrounding neighborhoods, but also creates a dialogue between students, educators, administrators, and artists that offers fresh perspectives on classic theatre and on Court’s main stage work.

Court’s Student Education Program is comprised of Artists-in-the-Schools (a series of intensive in-class residencies conducted at six South Side partner high schools annually by Court Teaching Artists), the Bank of America Student Matinee Series (weekday morning performances of Court’s main stage shows for students from the Chicagoland area, featuring deeply-discounted or fully-subsidized tickets) and the Internship Program (paid mentorships for undergraduate students offering hands-on experience in all aspects of arts administration and production).
